This year we were also present at the Anifilm 2026 International Festival of Animated Film, which for several days turned Liberec into a lively centre of contemporary animation, creativity and visual culture. Every year the festival brings creators, producers, students, game developers and fans of animated film from all over the world to the city and is one of the most important events of its kind in Central Europe.
Anifilm has long been a place where classical animation combines with new technologies, experimental work, virtual reality and contemporary design. Visitors have the opportunity to see competitive and non-competitive films, participate in workshops, lectures, exhibitions or discussions with prominent figures of the world of animation. It is this openness to different forms of visual art that creates a unique atmosphere that gives room for new ideas, collaboration and inspiration across creative disciplines.
We are happy to be part of this environment again and to build on previous successful collaborations with the festival. For this year’s edition, we have prepared special festival merch in the form of original glasses with an original motif created especially for Anifilm 2026. The limited collection was created as a link between the festival identity, the playfulness of animation and traditional Czech glass craft.
Our presentation also included an interactive installation that combined the world of glass, light and projection into one visual experience. Visitors could observe how the glass material changes under the influence of light and image movement and how it can react to digital projection and the surrounding space. The installation thus symbolically linked traditional glass production with modern audiovisual creation, which is typical for Anifilm.
For us, participation in the festival is not only an opportunity to present Czech glass in a new context, but also an opportunity to be part of a community of people who are pushing the boundaries of visual art, design and creative technologies. The inspiring environment of the festival once again showed how strong the connection between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary culture and modern media can be.

We would like to thank the organizers of Anifilm for another great cooperation and all the visitors who stopped by our installation during the festival or took away one of the festival glasses. We are already looking forward to the next edition and new joint projects.
